We have decided to introduce a new "half way" approach entitled "Better Driver Course".  Applicants will receive three 1.5 hour observed runs.  There will be no test, but a certificate of completion will be presented.  They become Group Friends for a year, so they will receive the Group's newsletter "Drive to Survive".  Although this course is aimed at those who are deterred by the Skill for Life course cost and / or the Advanced Driving Test, it is anticipated that the majority will gain confidence and enjoyment, so all those considered suitable will be encouraged by their Observers to follow on with the full Skill for Life course.  A further incentive will be the discounting of the full Better Driver course fee of £47.50 from the Skill for Life course.
