Our Extra Special Summer Group Event will be held on Tuesday 12th June 2012.
Jaguar Cars Factory Tour
For our summer meeting we are going to visit the Jaguar Car factory at Castle Bromwich for a factory tour. Factory tours take place during the day and we will therefore be leaving Worcester at 11.30am and returning around 4.30pm. We will be travelling by coach as parking is limited at the factory. There are a maximum number of 30 places available and they will be allocated on a ‘first come’ basis. An application form will be enclosed in the Spring issue of Drive to Survive, or you can access one to print, by clicking HERE.This should be sent with your cheque for £10 to cover the cost of the coach. If you are unsuccessful your cheque will be returned. I am assured that the tour is excellent and there is no compulsion to buy a car at the end of the tour!

Our Autumn Group Meeting will be held on Monday 15th October 2012.
At Woodgreen Evangelical Church, Warndon Villages, Worcester.
The Hydrogen Car
Our speaker for this evening will be the Managing Director of a small company, Riversimple based in Ludlow, which is at the cutting edge of potential alternatives to the car as we know it. This year the company will be supplying hydrogen powered cars to three County Councils in the Midlands. The cars will be leased to customers at a cost of around £250 a month plus a small charge per mile. Come to this meeting and learn about the future of energy efficient motoring.
For more information about how to get to the venue, please CLICK HERE.
The doors open at 7.30pm and the meeting will start at 8.00pm.
Hope to see you there!

At our meetings, we usually have an outside guest speaker
and an opportunity to present certificates to candidates who have recently
passed their Advanced Driving Test. We like to keep the meetings informal,
an occasion to meet other members and have a chat. Our doors open at 7.30,
why not have a cuppa before the meeting, which starts at 8pm start and usually
finish at 10pm.
Tea/Coffee and biscuits will be served.
The meetings are open to all: members, friends and visitors.
